BUILDING A CAPABLE AND CONFIDENT PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Tamiok Strike 2026 is a multinational military training exercise conducted in Papua New Guinea from July 6–24, 2026. It is led by the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) and the Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) and joined by the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces.
PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION
The 2023 Defense Cooperation Agreement enables more frequent exercises and deeper cooperation. For Papua New Guinea, this means stronger defense capability, enhanced regional security, and faster community response when it matters most.
Tamiok Strike transfers real skills – from medical care to disaster relief to tactical operations – directly into the hands of PNGDF soldiers, strengthening PNG's ability to protect its people.
